In protest to the virtual speech of Iranian regime president, Ebrahim Raisi in the UN General Assembly, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) held rallies and demonstrations in 13 cities across Europe and the US.

On September 21, 2021, Iranians gathered in front of the EU commission in Brussels to express their outrage about the speech of the mullahs’ regime president, although via a video conference, in the UNGA.

Ebrahim Raisi was one of the main members of the infamous “death commissions” that ordered the mass executions of 30,000 political prisoners, mainly supporters, and members of the MEK, in the summer of 1988 in Iran.

Supporters of the MEK in Brussels called to Prosecute Ebrahim Raisi for his crimes against humanity. They have gathered in front of the EU Commission in Schuman Square.

MEK/NCRI supporters in Brussels held the picture of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the NCRI. In a video message, Mrs. Rajavi called the UN to establish an international investigation committee about the 1988 massacre in Iran and prosecute perpetrators of this crime.

Mr. Paulo Casaca, former MEP from Portugal, and some representatives of the Iranian community spoke at the rally.
