Thursday, September 23, 2021: MEK supporters demonstrated in front of the central court of Stockholm at the 20th session of Hamid Noury’s trial, the executioner of the 1988 massacre.
Noury is being tried for his role in the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in Iran, mostly members and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(PMOI/MEK). Hamid Noury (also known as Hamid Abbasi) was one of the henchmen involved in the massacre as the assistant to the deputy Prosecutor in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj (west of Tehran). He was the executioner of numerous prisoners. Several years ago, the Iranian Resistance identified him as one of the perpetrators of the 1988 massacre.
Before that, he was a member of the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) and worked for many years as an interrogator and torturer in the notorious Evin Prison in Tehran.
Iranians، supporters of the MEK, former political prisoners and relatives of the martyrs in the 1988 massacre, called to prosecute the mullahs’ regime officials, especially supreme leader Ali Khamenei and the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi for crimes against humanity.
