My name is Akbar Samadi, and I was born in 1966. I was arrested at Keshavarz Boulevard in Tehran in August 1981 when the regime’s security forces brought in their forces extensively to surround the area.

After a few months, my identity was exposed by defectors at Evin, and I was subjected to interrogation. In the end, I was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

I spent this time in Ghezelhesar, Evin, and Gohardasht prisons. Of course, I was not the only person who was arrested when they were under 18 years of age.

There were a large number of people who were arrested at around the same age, and some of them were even executed at that young age.”
