Stockholm, April 26, 2022: Freedom-loving Iranians, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), rallied outside the court session of Iran’s regime executioner Hamid Noury for justice.

MEK supporters are seeking justice for 30,000 political prisoners executed by the mullahs’ regime in the 1988 massacre in prisons across the country.

Simultaneous with the rally, the 87th session of the trial of the henchman Hamid Noury, one of the executioners of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Gohardasht prison, held in the Stockholm District Court.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the 87th session after hearing the testimony of the plaintiffs and eyewitnesses, the explanations of the legal experts entered the final stage of the defense in the Swedish court. At this stage, first the prosecutors and then the plaintiffs’ lawyers and finally the executioner Noury’s lawyers presented their defenses.
The hearing on Tuesday, April 26, was devoted to the defense of the prosecutors in the case. Referring to Khomeini’s fatwa against the Mojahedin(MEK members and supporters), one of the prosecutors said: “Khomeini’s view was that all those who once supported the Mojahedin should be executed. Khomeini said that they were the enemy of Islam and should be eliminated immediately.” And whatever method is needed must be used to enforce these death sentences more quickly. The name of Khomeini and his seal are also in this fatwa.

Iranian Resistance supporters and 1988 massacre‘s martyrs families, called on the international community to prosecute the mullahs’ regime leaders, especially supreme leader Ali Khamenei, the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi and the regimes’ judiciary chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei, for four decades of crimes against humanity and genocide.

At the rally, MEK supporters chanted slogans and swore to continue the struggle for freedom of Iran and seeking justice for the martyrs of the1988 massacre.
