The Last Day of the Executioner Hamid Noury’s Trial, Large Demonstration of Iranian Resistance Supporters in Stockholm and Rally in Ashraf 3, Albania– May 4, 2022

In November last year, the court was specially transferred to Albania to hear a number of plaintiffs and witnesses to the 1988 massacre from the MEK members based in Ashraf 3, and its hearings were held in the Durrës court.

After this stage, on April 28, 2022, the prosecutor demanded a severe punishment (life imprisonment) for Noury due to solid documents and evidence.

On May 4, at the same time of the last day of the trial, freedom-loving Iranians and MEK supporters in Stockholm, Sweden, staged a large demonstration calling for the immediate trial of Mullahs’ regime leaders for crimes against humanity, the genocide, and massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988.

According to the Stockholm court judge, Hamid Noury’s sentence will be announced on July 14, 2022.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI) sent a video message to freedom-loving Iranians, supporters of the Iranian resistance and said: “The slaughter of political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison was declared a war crime and a crime against humanity, demanding the most severe punishment for one of the perpetrators involved.”

“The announcement is just one of your magnificent Call for Justice campaign stages. However, it is the historical product of the sacrifices made by the political prisoners who stood their ground and were massacred beginning in August 1988.”

Also, simultaneously with the last court hearing of the executioner Hamid Noury, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(PMOI/MEK) members in Ashraf-3 in Albania took place rallies.

MEK members in Ashraf 3 in their rallies demanded the trial of the mullahs’ regime leaders especially supreme leader Ali Khamenei, the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi and the regimes’ judiciary chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei for crimes against humanity, genocide, and 1988 massacre in Iran’s prisons.
