Resistance units’ activities on the occasion of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s election
Resistance units’ activities in the occupied homeland have continued on the occasion of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s election as the president-elect of the Iranian resistance.
These high-risk activities of the resistance units are carried out under circumstances where the mullah’s regime has put its suppressive forces on the highest alert, alongside creating a state of fear and suppression, conducting arrests, imprisonments, and shootings in an attempt to prevent any protest and strike, especially any activities related to the MEK and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.
Members of the resistance units in Tehran and Hamedan, as well as Nasrin Rostami’s resistance unit in Karaj put up posters and tracts containing an image of Maryam Rajavi and the slogan of “Democracy – Freedom, With Maryam Rajavi” on public streets. They were marking the 25th anniversary of October 22, 1993, the day Mrs. Maryam Rajavi was elected by the opposition coalition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), as the Iranian resistance’s president-elect.
Members of resistance units in Khuzestan province put up some posters in praising Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the Iranian resistance. They declared that “Maryam Rajavi is the symbol of the future Iran”, chanting “Democracy – Freedom, With Maryam Rajavi”.
In a courageous action, another resistance unit in Khuzestan raised the picture of Maryam Rajavi riding on a motorcycle in the streets of Ahvaz.

Forty years of plundering and brutal killings, 40 years of the compulsory veil, 40 years of disgrace amongst the international community happened because of the ominous mullahs regime but the darkness will not last forever and the sun will shine over the Iranian people once again by MEK.”
