Vienna, August 4, 2022: At the same time as the start of a new round of nuclear talks in Vienna, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a protest rally against the negotiations with the mullahs’ terrorist regime on Thursday, August 4.
To have a correct perception of the current situation of Iranian society ruled by the mullahs’ regime, we take a brief look at the course of political and economic developments in Iran during the year that has passed. This will lead help us to answer the key question of what it takes to overthrow the mullahs’ regime.
July 30, 2022— The Iranian Resistance Units, a network of activists of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) across Iran, have been organizing various activities that are louder calls for regime change. The Resistance Units commemorated the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in the summer of 1988 based on a fatwa by Khomeini.
Update and additional news: As part of the Free Iran 2022 campaign, members of Resistance Units, a network of brave and resilient Iranians associated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), sent 5,000 video messages supporting the Iranian opposition’s yearly convention and reiterating their resolve to overthrow the theocratic rule of the mullahs in Iran.

Sunday, July 31, 2022: Retirees and pensioners in several Iranian cities resumed their rallies to claim their violated rights by the mullahs’ regime.
Switzerland, Geneva, July 29, 2022: On the anniversary of the 1988 massacre, in memory of 30,000 political prisoners who were executed by the mullahs’ regime, freedom-loving Iranians, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), held a photo exhibition in the Square of Nations.
