November 18, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) organized rallies and exhibitions in solidarity with the Iranian Revolution in European cities including, Cologne, Malmö, Aarhus, Düsseldorf, Heidelberg, and Helsinki.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), sent a message to the conference at the Federal Parliament of Australia on November 18.
On November 16th, a conference convened at the Australian Parliament in Canberra to observe the fourth anniversary of Iran’s November 2019 uprising. The Australian Supporters of Democracy in Iran orchestrated the event, uniting multiple representatives from the Australian Parliament. The gathering aimed to honor those who lost their lives in the nationwide uprising and denounce the clerical dictatorship’s grave human rights transgressions and disruptive interventions in the region.

This demonstration served as a tribute to the martyrs of the nationwide Iranian uprising in November 2019 and in 2022. Among those remembered was Kian Pirfalak, a 10-year-old from Izeh who lost his life at the hands of the criminal agents of the Mullahs’ regime in November 2022.

On the commemoration of the November 2019 uprising, the Resistance Units, a network of PMOI/MEK supporters within Iran, conducted activities nationwide, reaffirming their dedication to following the path laid by the martyrs of the uprising and working towards the overthrow of the mullahs’ rule.
At a briefing held on Capitol Hill on November 14, Ambassador Lincoln Bloomfield Jr., former Assistant Secretary of the US State for Political-Military Affairs, tackled the subject of Iran’s covert influence operations. Specifically, he highlighted the recent events in the Middle East, including the attacks on October 7, as indicative of Tehran’s desperate response to internal challenges.
On November 14, during a Congressional briefing held at Capitol Hill, Professor Ivan Sascha Sheehan, the Associate Dean of the College of Public Affairs at The University of Baltimore, provided insights from his latest book titled “IRAN: The Ayatollah’s Hidden Hand.” In this engaging discussion, he delved into the covert strategies employed by Iran to manipulate political and social narratives within the United States.
