Iran opposition
British MP’s support Iran opposition June 30th rally
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi says that unless the current regime is ended that there can never be peace in Iran and that it would not be enough for people to support the present regime because it would never result in the goal of peace and in the elimination of the nuclear threat of Iran. And already we have seen the current regime threatening to start producing uranium again in industrial quantities. And that is just because one of our partners in the nuclear deal pulled out. Now we saw an uprising last year late in 2017 and in January of this year 2018 and it shows that the people of Iran want a change and they want the change because they want a free and democratic Iran. And this is what the NCRI is promising to bring in and the gathering next month in June in Paris is always a fantastic gathering its so many thousands of people go and puts the whole situation of human rights and the terrorism and the abuses in the past as well as in the present that is going on, on a map, on the international map. And this gathering is happening at the end of June and of course there will be many speeches there, all calling for an end to the clerical regime with its terrorism, its suppression of people, and its always the threat of creating nuclear armament so I can only lend my support to the NCRI and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and to all the people of Iran. And hope that very soon the world would take notice that the United Nation Security Council will call for an investigation into the human rights abuses that had happened in Iran both historic and more recent so that we can see Iran having a positive feature free from this horrendous human rights abuses.
I am Mark McInnes. I am a conservative member of the House of Lords in the United Kingdom and I am delighted to be able to do this short interview today. I have been very concerned over the previous six months about the reaction from the regime in Iran to the peaceful protests that have been taking place since December. I think those protests are quite different from many that we have seen before. Those protests are really about people who have suffering economically under the regime. The protest are very different in terms of the people who are protesting. Ordinary workers now in Iran are earning a third of the official poverty line. People are really suffering. Pensioners are losing their savings and the people of Iran had enough of this undemocratic clerical regime. And it is very important now that across Europe and across the wider world we support those they are peacefully protesting and insure that they are not facing extrajudicial measures. Because as the Amnesty International report the April 30, said thousands of political prisoners have suffered in the past three decades in Iran from extrajudicial and reprisals imprisonment and indeed execution. And if we look back to what happened in 1988 and the massacre in 1988 it is important the United Nations has a full independent investigation into the awful human rights abuses and massacres that took place in 1988. I think we have an opportunity to raise all these points at a wonderful gathering we look forward to in Paris in the 30th of June. I will be bringing with me a number of the other parliamentarians from the United Kingdom and I think it is going to be a wonderful opportunity for people to hear Maryam Rajavi’s ten-point plan for democracy in Iran, something that we all want to see.
Thank you

…..Support and hope to people in Iran for them to be out to see such a huge number of people up to eighty to hundred thousands of people, actually coming and showing their support to the Iranian opposition, to the Iranian resistance, must give a great deal of comfort to those people in Iran who want to bring about regime change. And I hope very much, indeed this is gathering would be as successful as the ones previously, I’m sure it will be. And there will be broaden interacts with speakers who will attend the occasion and give their support to the Iranian opposition and to the people of Iran
