Iran: Protests Are Rising in Various Cities Across the Country Over Rising Prices Against the Mullahs’ Regime

Protests target the mullahs’ regime leaders, Ali Khamenei and Ebrahim Raisi

May 13, 2022: Protests are rising in various cities across Iran over skyrocketing prices of basic goods, against the mullahs’ regime leaders, especially supreme leader of the religious dictatorship Ali Khamenei and his installed president, the mass murderer Ebrahim Raisi.

Borujerd : Security forces in this city, in Lorestan province, southwest of Iran, opened fire on protesters on Friday, May 13.
Protesters called for the “mullahs to get lost” and “Death to [Ebrahim] Raisi!”
Protests are ongoing over the sudden surge in price of food and other basic goods.

Dorud: Security forces opened fire on the second consecutive day of protests in Dorud. People are protesting the sudden hike of prices of food and basic goods Protesters chanted slogans against regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei. Similar protests are ongoing in several Iranian cities.

Cholicheh: Protesters in this town of Farsan county, in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, stormed a local IRGC Basij base on the second day of mass demonstrations.

Basij is a paramilitary force of the Revolutionary Guards(IRGC) tasked with domestic crackdown. Demonstrations are ongoing across Iran over the sudden surge in price of food and basic goods.

Ardabil: People gathered for a second day of protests over the surge of price of food and basic goods. Security forces attacked protesters. Protests have been ongoing in many cities across Iran.

Farsan: Angry protesters in this city in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province in southwest Iran, are seen attacking a regime facility as tensions escalate over skyrocketing prices of food staples.

Protesters chanting: “Death to Khamenei!” in reference to regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Shahinshahr, Isfahan province, central Iran: Locals have taken to the streets protesting rising prices of daily necessities.
Reports show protesters have set fire to an “advisory center” near a regime police station.

Dehdasht, southwest Iran: Locals have taken to the streets to protest sudden prices hikes of basic goods.

Khorramabad, capital city of Lorestan province, western Iran: People are gathering and starting their protests over rising inflation and skyrocketing prices of basic goods.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI), said:

Chants of “death to Khamenei” and “death to Raisi” are resonating in Borujerd, Dehdasht, Doroud, Shahinshahr, Ardabil, Khorramabad, Iranshahr, and other cities.
The continuation of uprisings and the activities of Resistance Units have beset the mullahs’ criminal regime.
