Iran: Trucks and Heavy Vehicles Drivers Resume Their Strike
A new round of strike of truck and heavy vehicles drivers began today, Monday, July 23rd. During the early hours, the strike spread to many provinces of Iran, including Tehran, East Azarbaijan, Kurdistan, Isfahan, Fars, Semnan, Qazvin, Kerman, Kermanshah, Lorestan, Markazi, Khorasan Razavi, Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, Khuzestan, and Hormozgan.
Two months ago, the nationwide strike of truck drivers that lasted for about two weeks spread to all 31 provinces of the country. They went on strike in protest of the deterioration of their livelihood, low fares, high logistic costs and vehicle installments, and refrained from loading goods and driving. The mullahs’ regime attempted to defeat the strike by repressive or deceptive measures. The arrest of a number of drivers, threats and intimidation of strikers, burning vehicles of the striking truck drivers, using army trucks, and false promises to increase fares were among these measures.
Hamburg Intelligence Agency Cites Iran Regime’s Nuclear Ambitions
The Hamburg intelligence agency, which forms part of the German intelligence network, has issued a report about the Iranian Regime and its efforts to obtain weapons of mass destruction.
This report contains yet more evidence from another German state that the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers has not helped to curb Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions, as Chancellor Angela Merkel had hoped.
The 211- page document, released on Thursday, states: “Some of the crisis countries… are still making an effort to obtain products for the manufacture of atomic, biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction (proliferation) and the corresponding missile carrier technology (rocket technology).”
The Hamburg report listed Iran as one of the four biggest areas of proliferation activities, while the other three are countries that are being somewhat controlled by Iran, including Syria, and Pakistan.

The Cabinet reiterated Bahrain’s full support for the strategy, which will reduce terrorist threats and enhance regional security.
Trump’s comments come in the context of a barrage of speeches and online communications meant to pressure Iran to end its nuclear programme and its support of militant groups, according to US officials.
Shahin Gobadi, a member of the foreign affairs committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran said last night: “Rouhani’s remarks were total bluster and warmongering.
