New York—September 21, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a protest rally in front of the UN against the mullahs’ regime’s crimes, demanding the UN hold Iran’s regime leaders, including its president, Masoud Pezeshkian, accountable for the 1988 Massacre and a wave of brutal executions in Iran.
Members of the Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) from across the United States have initiated a one-week campaign in New York to protest against Masoud Pezeshkian and his presence at the UNGA.
OIAC said on September 21:Raising public awareness on ongoing human rights violations and crimes by the regime in Tehran has been our focus for a 2024 Free Iran NY Rally. Candlelight vigil tonight with days of public campaigning should serve as a reminder to UNGA 79 that Iranians want regime change.
