Geneva, Switzerland – January 24, 2025: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and exhibition outside the UN headquarters to protest the death sentences imposed on political prisoners linked to the PMOI. The Iranian community in Geneva demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime’s prisons.
The event condemned the Iranian regime’s ongoing crimes against its people while expressing solidarity with the continuing Iranian Revolution.
During the demonstrations, participants called on the United Nations, the Human Rights Council, and member states to refer the regime’s human rights violations to the UN Security Council. They also urged accountability for the regime’s leaders, advocating for an international tribunal to prosecute them for crimes against humanity.
The protesters emphasized the Iranian people’s demand for a democratic republic, rejecting all forms of dictatorship—whether under the current mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.

The rally further called for the recognition of the Iranian resistance and the right of the Iranian people, along with the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran, to defend themselves in their fight against tyranny and dictatorship.
Participants also condemned the regime’s harsh repression of Iranian women, particularly under the pretext of enforcing the hijab. They voiced their support for Iranian women’s resistance against oppression, chanting the slogan: “Woman, Resistance, Freedom.”
