Canada – January 25, 2025: Despite snowy and freezing weather, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held rallies and exhibitions in Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver to protest the death sentences of political prisoners associated with the PMOI, particularly Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, who face imminent execution.
The events also condemned the Iranian regime’s ongoing crimes against the Iranian people and expressed solidarity with the ongoing Iranian Revolution. Additionally, the rallies called for the immediate release of all political prisoners.
Iranians in Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver emphasized their commitment to establishing a democratic republic and rejected all forms of dictatorship, whether the ruling mullahs’ regime or a return to the Shah’s rule.
They also called for international recognition of the Iranian people’s resistance and their right—along with the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran—to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny and dictatorship.
