Vancouver, Canada – February 8, 2025: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Vancouver to mark the 46th anniversary of the 1979 anti-monarchic revolution. The rally honored the struggle for freedom and democracy while reaffirming their commitment to establishing a democratic republic in Iran.
Participants rejected all forms of dictatorship, whether under the current regime or a return to monarchy, calling for a future based on justice, human rights, and democratic governance.
They also urged international recognition of the Iranian people’s resistance and their right—along with the MEK Resistance Units inside Iran—to defend themselves in their fight against tyranny.
