MEK Resistance Units Step Up Anti-Regime Activities Across Iran

PMOI Resistance Units in cities across Iran carry out anti-regime activities – October 8, 2025

October 8, 2025 — Members of the MEK Resistance Units  carried out a new wave of anti-regime activities across multiple Iranian cities, reaffirming their commitment to overthrowing dictatorship in all its forms and establishing a free and democratic republic.

In a coordinated campaign, activists displayed slogans and messages condemning both the clerical regime and the former monarchy, declaring their rejection of tyranny regardless of its face.

Across Tehran, Karaj, Ahvaz, Kermanshah, Sanandaj, Yazd, Babol, Babolsar, Tabriz, Shiraz, Rasht, Sari, and Shahr-e Qods, the Resistance Units echoed the people’s yearning for freedom and democracy.

Banners and graffiti read:

  • “Down with the oppressor, be it the shah or the mullahs.”

  • “No to monarchy, no to the supreme leader, yes to democracy and freedom.”

  • “Down with Khamenei, hail to Rajavi.”

  • “We want neither shah nor mullahs—dictators be damned.”

In Tehran, activists reiterated their allegiance to the leadership of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, leaders of the Iranian Resistance, emphasizing that the Iranian people reject both the reactionary mullahs’ rule and any return to monarchy.

These activities are part of a broader effort by the MEK’s network inside Iran to keep alive the spirit of resistance and to highlight the Iranian people’s demand for a secular, democratic republic based on universal human rights and popular sovereignty.
