Iranians Rally in Brussels to Honor Iran’s November 2019 Uprising and Demand Regime Change

Brussels, Belgium — November 15, 2025

Brussels, Belgium — November 15, 2025: A rally and exhibition were held in Brussels by supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) to honor the 1500 martyrs of the nationwide Iranian uprisings in November 2019 (Aban 98), the 2022 protests, and political prisoners—especially those executed by the mullahs’ regime this year and those still at risk of execution.

At the rally, freedom-loving Iranians and PMOI supporters emphasized the the continuation of the struggle for freedom and resistance against the oppressive clerical regime. They also commemorated the martyrs of the November 2019 uprising and highlighted the courage of the Iranian people in standing up against tyranny.

Participants recalled the lightning-fast and fiery actions by Resistance Units and protesters from November 14 to 20, 2019, across more than 200 cities and 1,000 locations nationwide, underlining the decisive role of this nationwide uprising in shaking the foundations of the criminal clerical regime.

The rally also protested the rising wave of executions carried out by the Iranian regime and called for the immediate release of all political prisoners held in the regime’s prisons.

Iranians in Brussels underscored their people’s desire for a democratic republic and their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether under the mullahs’ regime or a return to the monarchical rule. They stressed the need to recognize the Resistance Units and the right of the Iranian people to defend themselves in their struggle against tyranny.

The Iranian community specifically demanded that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) be designated as a terrorist organization and urged stronger actions from the Belgian government against the Iranian regime.

The gathering concluded with the singing of the anthem, the laying of flowers, and paying respects to the martyrs, reaffirming the Iranian people’s unwavering commitment to freedom and justice.
