Supporters of the Iranian Resistance in Vienna Urge Firm Action Against the Mullahs’ Nuclear Threat

Vienna – Nov 20, 2025

Coinciding with the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) Board of Governors meeting in Vienna on November 20, 2025, the Board passed a resolution demanding urgent transparency regarding Iran’s nuclear program. Outside the IAEA headquarters, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance—including the NCRI and the PMOI/MEK—held a rally calling for a firm and decisive international policy.

Protesters warned that the mullahs’ regime continues to use negotiations as a smokescreen to advance its nuclear ambitions and destabilize the region. Holding banners and images of Maryam Rajavi, the NCRI’s President-elect, demonstrators urged the international community to reject appeasement and confront the escalating nuclear threat posed by the regime.

They stressed their rejection of all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or clerical—and called for a free, democratic republic in Iran, free of nuclear weapons.

The protesters also urged the IAEA to refer Iran’s nuclear dossier to the UN Security Council without delay. Among their key demands were the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization, stricter EU policies toward the regime, and the closure of the Iranian embassy in Austria, which they described as a hub for espionage operations.
