Zahedan: MEK Resistance Units Intensify Weekly Activities Against Dictatorship in Iran

Zahedan MEK Resistance Units rise against dictatorship — 21 Nov 2025
Zahedan MEK Resistance Units rise against dictatorship — 21 Nov 2025

November 21, 2025 — Zahedan: MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan resumed their weekly activities, openly challenging the regime’s repressive apparatus and reaffirming their commitment to overthrowing all forms of dictatorship and establishing a democratic republic. Their actions underscored a steadfast dedication to freeing Iran from tyranny and advancing the nationwide movement for change.

Carrying placards and chanting slogans, the Resistance Units condemned both the Shah’s and the mullahs’ dictatorships. They emphasized that Iran’s future lies not in replacing one form of despotism with another, but in achieving genuine freedom and popular sovereignty.

Several placards displayed quotes from the leaders of the Iranian Resistance:

  • Massoud Rajavi: “Khamenei should learn from Ben Ali and step down; otherwise, Iran’s rebels and people will burn his regime down.”

  • Maryam Rajavi: “The self-immolation of Ahvazi youth Ahmad Baledi is a symbol of a society in Iran ready to explode.”

Participants stressed that the real solution to crises such as water shortages lies in removing IRGC-linked contractors and those close to the Supreme Leader who plunder the nation’s resources. They declared that the regime understands only force and resolve, and that its downfall is inevitable, driven by the determination of the Iranian people.

Slogans featured in this week’s activities included:

  • “Tehran will rise, and the mullahs and IRGC will kneel before the people.”

  • “We want to take back our country.”

  • “No to the colonial Shah, no to the reactionary mullahs.”

  • “Death to the oppressor—be it the Shah or the Leader.”

  • “Neither Sheikh nor Shah—Freedom and a Democratic Republic.”

  • Monarchy and Theocracy—A Century of Crimes.”

  • “Iranians are awake—they despise both Shah and Sheikh.”

  • “No to executions—This is our nation’s cry.”

  • “No crown, no turban—your time is over, mullah.”

  • “A dictatorship is a dictatorship—whether with a turban or a crown.”

The Resistance Units emphasized that the tremors of overthrow have already struck the clerical rule and that the struggle for Iran’s liberation continues with unwavering determination.
