December 12, 2025 — Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan:
The MEK Resistance Units carried out a new round of activities by widely displaying messages, placards, and revolutionary slogans, openly confronting the regime’s repressive apparatus. These actions underscored the people’s firm determination to overthrow the ruling dictatorship and to establish a free and democratic Iran—one that rejects all forms of despotism, whether monarchical or clerical, and is founded on popular sovereignty and the people’s vote. The activities reflected the continuation of organized resistance and the steadfastness of the people of Zahedan in the face of repression, executions, economic pressure, and systemic discrimination.
Carrying placards and chanting slogans, the Resistance Units condemned executions, intimidation, and the regime’s policies that have driven rising prices and deepened social injustice. They stressed that Iran’s future does not lie in replacing one dictatorship with another, but in achieving genuine freedom, equality, and a democratic republic.
Several placards featured statements from the leaders of the Iranian Resistance:
Massoud Rajavi: “The answer to executions and intimidation is fire and uprising.”
Maryam Rajavi: “Iranian society has risen up against the policy of executions.”
Massoud Rajavi: Guaranteeing the rights of nationalities in the National Council of Resistance guarantees the territorial integrity of a democratic Iran—without shah or sheikh.
The people of Iran want neither a monarchical dictatorship nor a religious dictatorship; rather, everyone seeks a future based on the people’s vote.
Maryam Rajavi: For the people of Iran, there is only one choice: an organized uprising and the overthrow of religious despotism.
Slogans featured in these activities included:
“No matter how many you execute, the Baluch cannot be ignored or eliminated!”“Iran’s democratic revolution will prevail, and the clerical regime will be swept from our homeland.”
“Death to the oppressor—be it the Shah or the Leader.”
“Neither Sheikh nor Shah—Freedom and a Democratic Republic.”
“Monarchy and Theocracy—A Century of Crimes.”
“Iranians are awake—they despise both Shah and Sheikh.”
“No to executions—This is our nation’s cry.”
“No crown, no turban—your time is over, mullah.”
“A dictatorship is a dictatorship—whether with a turban or a crown.”
The Resistance Units emphasized that the tremors of overthrow have already shaken clerical rule, and that the struggle for Iran’s liberation will continue with unwavering determination. They stressed that the regime’s fate will be sealed either through escalating international confrontation combined with internal repression, or through retreat and being forced to “swallow poison,” but in either case, the path leads toward its eventual downfall.
