Washington, DC – December 31, 2025 — Members of Iranian American communities, organized by the Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC), gathered in front of the White House on Wednesday to express solidarity with the nationwide protests in Iran that began on Sunday, December 28.

The rally brought together supporters of the Iranian Resistance, including the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), who voiced strong support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.

Demonstrators called for fundamental political change in Iran and the establishment of a democratic republic, stressing that Iran’s future must be determined solely by its people. Participants rejected all forms of dictatorship, chanting slogans such as “No to the Shah. No to the Mullahs,” to emphasize their opposition to both the former monarchical system and the current clerical regime.

Participants highlighted the courage of protesters inside Iran who continue to risk their lives demanding freedom, justice, and democratic rights. The rally sent a clear message to the international community to stand with the people of Iran, not with any form of dictatorship, and to support their call for a free, democratic, and republican Iran.
