On the 47th anniversary of the Iranian people’s anti-monarchical revolution of 1979, MEK Resistance Units carried out extensive activities on in the early hours of February 11, 2026, marking the anniversary of the revolution, including 22 image projections in various cities. These actions emphasized the call for a democratic republic, rejected both the ruling clerical regime and the former Shah’s dictatorship, and expressed support for the Iranian people’s ongoing uprising.

Resistance Units conducted image projections, displaying projected images of the leaders of the Iranian Resistance, Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi, and projected slogans on walls and buildings in various cities. Alongside these visuals, messages promoting a democratic revolution in Iran and denouncing both past and present forms of oppression were prominently displayed.

• Death to the dictator—no to the colonial Shah, no to the reactionary Sheikh; death to the oppressor, whether Shah or Supreme Leader.

• The Shah’s son seeks to turn the turban, corruption, and the Sheikh’s crimes into a crown for himself.

• Monarchists seek to smear and discredit the 1979 revolution against the puppet royal dictatorship and the millions of people and youth who, in 1977–79, chanted “Death to the Shah” across Iran for independence and freedom.

• Tehran – Sadr Expressway, Gol St.: The Shah, the Sheikh, and the remnants of their rule are anti-people. The era of all dictatorships—religious or monarchical—has come to an end.

• Ilam – Mosalla Blvd.: Iran’s freedom movement will never return to the dark era of the Shah and the Sheikh.

• Ardabil – Kargar Sq., Razi St.: The fate of the Sheikh, like the Shah, is certain and inevitable overthrow.
