Paris, France – February 26, 2026 – A book table and photo exhibition were held at Place de la Bastille in Paris to express solidarity with the nationwide uprising in Iran and to commemorate the victims and fallen heroes of the movement. The event was organized by supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and underscored the resilience of the Iranian people and their continued demand for freedom, justice, and democratic governance.
Organizers called on the French public to recognize the suffering endured by Iranians and their unequivocal rejection of all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or theocratic Through compelling images and personal testimonies, the exhibition highlighted the sacrifices made by protesters and urged the international community to stand with the Iranian people rather than lend support to any authoritarian alternative.
Participants stressed the urgent need for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, reaffirming their commitment to the ongoing struggle for political rights and civil liberties. The event served both as a tribute to those who lost their lives and as a renewed appeal for global solidarity with a movement seeking meaningful and lasting change.
