
St. Gallen, Switzerland – April 7, 2026: Supporters of the Iranian Resistance held a book stall and photo exhibition in St. Gallen to protest the executions of six political prisoners — Mohammad Taghavi, Akbar Daneshvar Kar, Babak Alipour, Pouya Ghobadi, Vahid Bani-Amerian, and Abolhassan Montazer. The victims were affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
Demonstrators condemned the actions of Iran’s ruling regime, describing the executions as a flagrant violation of human rights. They called for regime change and urged the Swiss government to take a clear stance against the ongoing human rights abuses in Iran.
The event highlighted growing international concern over the situation of political prisoners in Iran. Participants called for increased global pressure to end executions and to support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.

Organizers of the rally in St. Gallen urged the Swiss public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s firm rejection of all forms of dictatorship — whether monarchical or theocratic.
