Malmö, Sweden – April 18, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally in Malmö to protest the execution of political prisoners in Iran.

Participants also commemorated the martyrs of April 19, 1972, and 1975—dates that mark the execution of 13 political prisoners by the Shah’s regime, remembered by Iranians as “30 Farvardin.”

Demonstrators strongly condemned the actions of the mullahs’ criminal terrorist regime, describing the executions as a blatant violation of human rights. During the rally, participants paid tribute to the martyrs by holding their photos and reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle against the mullahs’ regime until its overthrow and the establishment of peace, freedom, and justice in a democratic republic.

They also called for regime change and urged the Swedish government to adopt a firm stance against the regime’s ongoing human rights abuses.

Call for International Support

Organizers of the rally in Malmö urged the Swedish public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s unequivocal rejection of all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or theocratic.
