Resistance Units Expand Anti-Execution Campaign Nationwide
In continued defiance of the regime’s machinery of repression and in steadfast commitment to overthrowing the clerical dictatorship, courageous MEK Resistance Units carried out a wide range of field activities across nine Iranian cities as part of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign.
The coordinated actions commemorated the martyrs of Iran’s uprising and members of the PMOI/MEK who were executed by the regime. Activities took place in Kermanshah, Someh Sara, Qazvin, Shiraz, Rasht, Mashhad, Marvdasht, Ardakan, and Astara, where banners and posters were displayed in streets and public areas, delivering a clear message that the blood of the martyrs will continue to fuel the nationwide uprising until the regime is overthrown.
Kermanshah: No Surrender, Resistance Until the End
In Kermanshah, Resistance Units installed several banners emphasizing perseverance on the path of resistance. One banner read: “O executed Mojahed, you are our pride and honor. Your path and struggle will continue.” Another carried the slogan: “One voice, one cry — no surrender, resistance until the end. No to Execution Tuesdays.” The city also witnessed memorial banners honoring the martyr Shahin on the eve of the 40th day after his martyrdom.
Someh Sara and Qazvin: By the Blood of Our Comrades
In Someh Sara, a banner declared: “On the eve of the 40th day of martyrdom, we honor the memory of Mohammad Taghavi,” reaffirming commitment to his cause with the slogan: “By the blood of our comrades, we stand firm until the end. No to Execution Tuesdays.”
In Qazvin, banners condemned the brutal execution of Ebrahim Dowlatabadi and carried the defiant slogan of Iran’s rebellious youth: “We neither forgive nor forget.”
Shiraz and Rasht: Present and Ready
In Shiraz, uprising youth commemorated executed protester Amir Hossein Hatami on the eve of the 40th day after his martyrdom through banners honoring his sacrifice. Another banner paid tribute to executed revolutionary Amer Ramesh.
In Rasht, Resistance Units reaffirmed their readiness to continue the struggle through banners bearing the symbolic slogan: “On the eve of our martyrs’ fortieth day — present, present, present.”
Mashhad, Marvdasht, Ardakan, and Astara: Demand for Accountability
In Mashhad, Astara, and Marvdasht, Resistance Units commemorated executed protester Mehdi Rasouli, condemning the regime’s crime and renewing their pledge that the martyrs’ blood will never be forgotten.
In Ardakan, banners denounced the execution of Ebrahim Dowlatabadi by the regime’s henchmen and vowed accountability and punishment for those responsible for these brutal crimes.
Gallows That Ignite the Uprising
These bold and simultaneous actions once again demonstrated that the executions carried out by the ruling clerical dictatorship have failed to intimidate Iranian society. Instead, they have become an additional catalyst strengthening the resolve of the Iranian people and the Resistance Units to continue their struggle for freedom.
Keeping the names of the martyrs alive in the streets of Iranian cities is a clear declaration that the path of uprising and resistance will continue until freedom is achieved.
