Free Iran 2026: Global Leaders Back Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan, Iranian Resistance, and Democratic Republic

Global leaders at Free Iran 2026 endorse Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan and the organized resistance for a free, democratic, secular republic in Iran.
Global leaders at Free Iran 2026 endorse Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan and the organized resistance for a free, democratic, secular republic in Iran.
At the Free Iran 2026 World Summit in Paris, numerous international dignitaries, former officials, and parliamentarians delivered statements highlighting their backing for the Iranian people’s resistance, Mrs. Maryam Rajav, her 10-point plan, the rejection of both monarchical and clerical dictatorships, and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) as the organized democratic alternative leading toward a secular, democratic republic in Iran.
These remarks come from short video clips (primarily under one minute each) featured in the official playlist.

Spanish Senator Íñigo Fernández García stated: “Maryam Rajavi, we are here because of you. We are here because we believe in you. We are here because we believe in your words, in your work, in you as a solution for Iranian people… Everybody wants freedom. But in Iran… it’s freedom but it’s security for all of us. It is peace for all of us.”
Former Finnish Prime Minister Jäätteenmäki declared: “We want to say no to a regime built on systematic repression, executions… We have come here to say that the Iranian people have the right to live in peace, safe, on democratic freedom without fear… I believe in free Iran. And I believe Maryam Rajavi’s 10-point plan.”
Ingrid Betancourt emphasized the nature of the struggle: “The struggle for Iran is not a struggle between the past and the present. It’s not a choice between one dictatorship or another. It is a struggle of a new generation determined to build a democratic republic.”
Former Canadian FM John Baird reinforced this position: “The Iranian people have made it very clear that they reject all forms of dictatorships, whether it’s the religious fascists and the mullahs, or whether it’s the return of the monarchy and the disgraced regime of the Shah. We must reject the notion that it’s a binary choice between two dictatorships… The obvious option that we’re all here to support is the creation of a democratic republic where no religious leaders and no hereditary privilege will exist.”
Gen. James Jones said: “Mrs. Rajavi has never asked for foreign military intervention to create regime change… The Iranian people will achieve that goal themselves… Our collective support for Mrs. Rajavi and the NCRI… is the only great hope for the future in democratic Iran.”
Charles Michel stated: “Appeasement doesn’t work. Appeasement only prolongs the suffering of the Iranian people… There is another way, there is an alternative… organized, democratic, determined resistance.”
MP Naike Gruppioni affirmed: “The Iranian people’s desire for freedom is stronger than the fear the regime seeks to impose… I extend my greetings to the women and men of the Iranian Resistance… who continue to fight for a democratic future.”
Dominique Attias declared: “Every demonstration banned in Paris tightens the regime’s grip in Tehran… We will not ask permission to defend human dignity… Zan, Moghavemat, Azadi — Woman, Resistance, Freedom.”
Former Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom John Bercow said: “You can murder people… But the one thing you can’t do is murder an idea. You cannot murder the idea of freedom.”MP Bob Blackman stated: “For decades, your determination and sacrifice have kept alive the hope of a free, secular, democratic, and non-nuclear Iran.”
Amb. Carla Sands noted: “The recent wave of executions… exposed both the regime’s weakness and the courage of the people… Their brilliant future is laid out in the 10-point plan.”
Amb. Robert Joseph emphasized: “We must support the Iranian people by supporting the organized resistance… No to theocracy. No to monarchy. No to executions and no to appeasement. Yes to the 10-point plan.”
Gen. Wolters noted the momentum: “It is your relentless resiliency that sets the standard for loyalty and with that our resistance will continue long into the future… Madam Rajavi, you inspire us all… you have captured the strategic campaign momentum and we are on our way to success.”
Gen. Keith Kellogg observed the regime’s position: “The regime is weaker than it has been in decades… You must aggressively confront the regime. You must plant your flag [in] the people’s renewal pact in Iran. A resistance movement cannot be in name alone… The theocratic regime in Tehran will not leave voluntarily. You must force it.”
Former British PM Boris Johnson expressed confidence: “Listening to Mrs. Rajavi, I think you are going to succeed. I know it. When it happens and it will happen. It will be a glorious event for the world because it’ll be the moment when Iran, this ancient wonderful beautiful country, is reintegrated finally into the fellowship of nations.”
Dr. Alejo Vidal Quadras addressed the regime directly: “Every slander you say about us, every attack you do to us, every bullet you shoot to us, every innocent that is chained in your sinister prisons makes us stronger. So, go on because your days are finished.”
Senator Torricelli, MP Judy Sgro, David Jones, MP Carsten Müller, and Former Romanian PM Petre Roman also voiced strong support for the resistance and a democratic future for Iran in their short addresses.
Additional short statements from the personalities echoed these themes, including strong support for the NCRI rally as the embodiment of the Iranian people’s efforts, calls to end appeasement that only prolongs suffering, condemnation of political executions as evidence of the regime’s fear, and affirmations that the Iranian people’s desire for freedom outweighs the fear of repression. Speakers at the Free Iran 2026 Summit in Paris highlighted the organized resistance’s crucial role and the clear path toward a free, secular, and democratic Iran through the NCRI’s framework.
These excerpts are drawn directly from the short clips (videos 1–31) in the Free Iran 2026 playlist on the NCR IRAN YouTube channel. The statements focus on solidarity with the resistance, endorsement of Maryam Rajavi’s vision and 10-point plan, clear rejection of both past and present dictatorships, and advocacy for a democratic republic as the alternative.
The full playlist contains dozens of similar short messages from global figures expressing these positions.
