July 10, 2026 — Zahedan, southeast Iran

On Friday, July 10, MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan carried out a new wave of activities by widely displaying banners, placards, and messages promoting the Iranian Resistance’s campaign of “No to Shah, No to Mullahs.” The operation reaffirmed support for the Iranian people’s uprising, the overthrow of the ruling religious dictatorship, and the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran.

Coinciding with the aftermath of Ali Khamenei’s burial, the Resistance Units displayed a series of messages across different parts of the city. The campaign featured statements by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), Mr. Massoud Rajavi, leader of the Iranian Resistance, along with public slogans emphasizing freedom, organized resistance, national solidarity, and the vision of a democratic republic.

Messages by Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi

Among the messages displayed were:

  • “The end of 120 years of dictatorship and the dawn of freedom and a democratic republic have arrived.”
  • “The fundamental principle of ‘Neither Shah nor Mullah’ means rejecting every form of dictatorship and dependence, and standing solely for an independent, national, and patriotic Iran.”
  • “Under the banner of ‘Neither Mullah nor Shah,’ we must raise the cry of freedom, take up the cause of resistance, and stand against tyranny.”

Messages by Maryam Rajavi

The campaign also featured messages by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, including:

  • “The people of Iran and the oppressed nationalities stand against religious fascism under the banner of ‘Neither Shah nor Mullah.’”
  • “The overthrow of the clerical regime and the achievement of freedom and a democratic republic depend on our people, our Resistance, and the Army of Freedom.”
  • “Iran’s future, and the path to peace and freedom, lies in establishing a democratic republic.”

Public Slogans Displayed Across Zahedan

Resistance Units also displayed a number of public slogans, including:

  • “Death to the bloodstained King Mojtaba. Curse upon Khomeini, the bloodthirsty tyrant, and Khamenei. Hail to Rajavi.”
  • “Down with the oppressor, whether the Shah or the Supreme Leader.”
  • “Khamenei’s funeral has been turned into a massive political and security spectacle aimed at preserving the regime, imposing the hereditary and manufactured ‘King Mojtaba Khamenei’ as the next Supreme Leader, and intimidating all rivals.”
