PMOI Supporters Stage an Exhibition in St. Gallen Against Iran’s Regime Continuing Executions

St. Gallen, Switzerland – July 28, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a book table and photo exhibition in St. Gallen to protest the executions of political prisoners, including PMOI member Mehdi Khanaki, as well as the public execution of two protesters in Isfahan, who had been arrested during the January uprising.

They said the executions are continuing and are targeting protesters and political prisoners across the country. The event was also held in solidarity with the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign in Iran’s prisons.

Calls for International Pressure on Iran’s Regime Over Rights Violations

Demonstrators condemned the actions of Iran’s ruling regime, describing the executions as a flagrant violation of human rights. They called for regime change and urged the Swiss government to take a clear stance against the ongoing human rights abuses in Iran.

The event highlighted growing international concern over the situation of political prisoners in Iran. Participants called for increased global pressure to end executions and to support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.

Rejection of All Forms of Dictatorship, Whether Monarchy or the Mullahs’ Regime

Organizers of the rally in St. Gallen urged the Swiss public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s firm rejection of all forms of dictatorship — whether monarchical or theocratic.

Solidarity of Swiss Citizens in St. Gallen

Swiss citizens visiting the photo exhibition of martyrs and images of political prisoners executed by the Iranian regime expressed deep solidarity with the Iranian people. They strongly condemned the regime’s inhumane actions and voiced their support for the struggle for freedom and human rights in Iran.
