PMOI/MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan continued their weekly activities despite the regime’s atmosphere of repression and intimidation, spreading the message of resistance and freedom. On the anniversary of the 1988 massacre of more than 30,000 political prisoners in Iran’s prisons, carried out on the orders of Khomeini, the then Supreme Leader of the clerical regime, the Resistance Units reaffirmed their commitment to overthrowing the mullahs’ regime and establishing a democratic republic.

Honoring the memory of the victims of the 1988 massacre, the Resistance Units emphasized that the struggle for freedom and justice continues and that the sacrifices of those who lost their lives remain a source of inspiration for future generations.
