Resistance units’ activities in Iran, on the occasion of the Student Day

The resistance units’ activities in Iran stepped up on the occasion of the Student Day, December 7. This day in Iran is the anniversary of three fallen students at the University of Tehran during a protest against the Shah’s tyrannical regime in 1953.

The “resistance units” are affiliated to the Iranian opposition, People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK). The resistance units’ activities on the occasion of the Student Day took place simultaneously with the protest of the looted and deprived people, particularly the workers, and demanding their legitimate rights to make ends meet, freedom of the imprisoned workers and the right to form workers council.

In Velenjak district, northwest of Tehran, and Bojnord (N.E), the members of resistance units wrote in a graffiti: “Murderer Khamenei your time has come to an end!”, “Hail to Rajavi! Hail to Mojahedin!”, “Death to Khamenei!”, and, “The uprising will be carried on by the resistance units.”

In Urmia, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit-314 wrote in a graffiti, “Death to Khamenei”, “Death to the dictator, hail to Rajavi!” and, “Long live a democratic Iran!”

Members of a resistance unit In Golpaygan, southwest Iran, wrote the slogan of “Imprisoned students must be freed” on a wall.

In Dezful, southwest Iran, members of a resistance unit at the Azad University put up signs reading, “Neither threats nor prison, are no longer effective!”, “Students, teachers and workers, unite, unite!”, “Student will die but will not give in to disgrace!”

At Tehran University, the resistance units’ activities included putting up signs reading: “Workers, students, teachers, congratulations on your unity.”, “Universities are bastions of freedom!”, “Students Day marks the students struggle against dictatorship”, and “Universities are not garrisons!”

One of the resistance unit members posted a sign, reading, “The voice of students will never be silenced.”

In Gorgan, (N), during the resistance units’ activities, signs were posted reading, “Students will die but will not give in to disgrace.”, and, “Death to the principal of the Velayat-e Faqih!”

In Kermanshah, western Iran, the members of a Resistance Unit  marked the Students Day by putting up signs quoting President Maryam Rajavi: “Dear students, you are the hope of freedom and victory in Iran.”

The members of a Resistance Unit in Darab central-south of Iran also wrote the slogan of “Death to Khamenei” on the wall.

In Tehran’s Qarchak district, members of a resistance unit wrote in a graffiti various slogans encouraging students in their anti-regime protests.

Members of a resistance unit in Rasht, northern Iran, raised a sign reading, “Dear students, multiply the resistance units at universities across the country” and chanted “Death to Khamenei.”

In Isfahan, the members of a resistance unit set fire to posters of the Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and the regime’s founder, Khomeini. Members of this resistance unit also chanted: “Hail to Rajavi.”

The members of a resistance unit in Baluchistan, southeast Iran, set fire to Khomeini’s and Khamenei’s posters while chanting: “Death to the mullahs’ regime – Hail to Rajavi – Viva Freedom.”

The resistance units’ activities in Mazandaran, northern Iran, covered tearing down a Khomeini banner and writing a graffiti which read: “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”

In Tehran, members of a Resistance Unit, raised the posters of Masoud and Maryam Rajavi as the symbols of the free Iran of tomorrow, on their hands. The posters read in their subtitles: “Massoud Rajavi: the captive nation of Iran has risen and the dawn is imminent!” and, “Maryam Rajavi: The risen youths and people turn over the darkest page in the history of Iran!”
