Vancouver, Canada – October 10, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and photo exhibition against executions in Iran on the occasion of the World Day Against the Death Penalty, raising awareness of political prisoners and protesters facing execution.
Demonstrators denounced the executions as a grave violation of human rights and condemned what they described as the Iranian regime’s continued repression of political opponents and peaceful protesters. Participants paid tribute to the victims by holding their photographs and honoring their memory.
Chanting “Change, change, change—regime change in Iran” and “No war, no appeasement—regime change in Iran by the people of Iran,” the participants called for the overthrow of the clerical regime and emphasized that democratic change in Iran must be achieved by the Iranian people themselves.
