MEK 30 years after Iran’s 1988 massacre

MEK 30 years after Iran’s 1988 massacre

Three decades have passed from the horrible summer of 1988 when Iranian regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini ordered the massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners, most of whom being members and supporters of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

Iranians in 30 cities across the world have joined for an online conference to commemorate the memory of more than 30,000 political prisoners executed by the Iranian regime in the summer of 1988.

The event, which has become known as the “1988 massacre,” was triggered by a fatwa by then–supreme leader of the Iranian regime Ruhollah Khomeini, which ordered regime officials to purge all prisons of political prisoners affiliated with the PMOI/MEK.

Mrs.Fakhri Shirazi delivered a speech in this conference as follow:

Speech by Fakhri Shirazi, The Roots of the Nationwide Uprisings & its Prospect, August 25, 2018

Once again, we call on all the European governments and particularly, the German government,

to stop supporting the Iranian regime under the pretext of the JCPOA and do not give in to the pressure from the Mullahs to release their diplomat-terrorist, instead, we demand to support the Iranian people’s uprising to overthrow the regime.

This will happen and it will be for the benefit of the people of Germany, too.

And we demand the closing down of the mullahs’ spy nest and the expulsion of all their spies and mercenaries from European countries.

I thank you all,

Long live Iran.
