The question was very short, are you from the MEK, or are you prepared to betray your idea? And thirty thousand members of the MEK chose to stand up and remain loyal to their beliefs. Farideh Goodarzi:
In the name of the God and in the memory of the thirty thousand political prisoners in the summer of 1988.
My name is Farideh Goodarzi and I’m one of the survivor and witnesses to the massacre of 1988.
In those days, with my brother Parviz, I was in the prison of Hamedan spending my sentence, Parviz was heroically executed.
Contrary to the false claims by perpetrators of the massacre regarding the connection between this massacres with the operation of the “Eternal light”, this crime was planned from a long time before at the highest level of Iran’s regime. Since a year earlier the prisoners were divided into different categories based on their political affiliations and the quality of their resistance and opposition to the regime. And finally, it was implemented with Khomeini’s order.

Every message was a message of death. We could only hear another prisoner breathing just next to us and at the beginning of the morning we were returned to the cells but every day there were less of us remaining and after one week we were only just a few who had survived.
The most disturbing scenes were in the yard of the Hamadan prison while handing over the belongings of the executed to their families who had to make a commitment that they would not have any right of holding the funeral.
Many parents had stroked and some even died by hearing the executions of their loved ones. They and I hope that one day, I will be able to provide detailed testimony to national court but we as victims and the families of executed prisoners will never forget the crime. We will continue our efforts until all the perpetrators and those who ordered this crime face justice.
And at the end, I will say to Khamenei and all his agents that they will receive the final response from one thousand of resistance units and the liberation army.
So, we all say that Massoud (Rajavi) is our leader and we will overthrow this regime by the Iranian liberation army.
