The nationwide uprising of the Iranian continues for the 5-consecutive day, despite brutal suppression. The Iranian regime has shut down internet to silent the Iranian people’s cry of freedom. Yet, the supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) also Known as the Mujahedin-e Khalq and The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), have been staging protests to echo the voice of their risen compatriots.

In the United States, the Iranian-American community, supporters of the MEK held various rallies and protests in different states.

On Sunday, the NCRI supporters in Washington D.C. marched in solidarity with the recent uprising in Iran in front of the White House. They also paid tribute to the martyrs who have fallen for freedom in Iran during the recent uprising.

In an interview with the 7Day News, Ramesh Sepehrrad, spokesperson for the Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) which supports the MEK said, “The Iranian diaspora is holding solidarity rallies in 12 countries across three continents in more than 24 cities across the world.”

“Our rally is to urge policy makers at local and national levels to stand with the people of Iran and denounce the ongoing human rights violations there,” she added.

The NCRI supporters in Washington D.C also held banners which read, “Recognize the right of the Iranian people in #IranProtests to free their country,” “Support Iran protests against the ruling dictatorship in Iran” and “Hail to the Iranian people who have risen in cities across the nation to Free Iran.”

in addition, On Sunday, the Iranian American community in Southern California gathered in solidarity in front of the Federal Building and condemned the brutal regime in Iran and supported the Iranian people in their struggle for a free Iran. They urged the international community to recognize the right of the Iranian people to establish a free country.

Also, on Sunday, Iranian Americans supporters of the MEK also held a rally on in Sandy Springs. The demonstrators chanted “Change, change, change! Regime change in Iran,”. They had a large banner which read, “Democracy, Freedom, Regime Change in Iran. Onward with uprising to end religious dictatorship. Long live freedom!”

The NCRI supporters also paid tribute to the uprising’s martyrs

Iranian Americans, and supporters of the MEK in Houston, Texas, held another rally in solidarity with the protesters in Iran.

In Toronto Canada, the Iranians and supporters of the MEK and NCRI held a rally in solidarity with the recent Uprising in Iran.

Also, in Vancouver the MEK supporters gathered in support of the Iranian people uprising and echoed their voice.

Demonstrations in Europe

The supporters of the MEK and the members of the Iranian diaspora in Europe held rallies in different European cities.

In Berlin Germany hundreds of the MEK supporters protested in front of the regime’s embassy in Germany and chanted slogans in support of the ongoing uprising in Iran.

In Rome, Italy, members of the Iranian diaspora, supporters of the MEK, rallied in front the regime’s embassy in Rome. The participants echoed the voice of the Iranian people who demand the downfall of this regime and condemned regime’s brutality in dealing with protestors.

Also, in Bucharest, Romania supporters of the MEK gathered in solidarity with the uprising in Iran and honored the memory of its martyrs.
