Iranians and NCRI/MEK supporters mourn victims of Ukrainian passenger jet crash across the world

Iranians and NCRI/MEK supporters mourn victims of Ukrainian passenger jet crash across the world

Iranians, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK) and the National council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) staged protests in various cities in solidarity with victims of the Ukrainian passenger jet intentionally downed by the Iranian regime.

NCRI/MEK supporters held these protests in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Rome, Italy. They were holding pictures of the Iranian resistance leader, Mr. Massoud Rajavi and the NCRI’s president-elect Mrs. Maryam Rajavi. They also paid tribute to over 1500 martyrs of the nationwide Iran protests.

In Amsterdam, Netherlands the NCRI/MEK supporters lit candles on a table, commemorating the victims of the downed passenger jet. They held signs quoting Mrs. Maryam Rajavi about the regime’s crime which read: “Downing of passenger jet is a major crime that people will neither forgive nor forget Ukrainian Plane in Iran.”

The NCRI/MEK supporters also chanted slogans against the Iranian regime and condemned intentional downing of the Ukrainian airliner by the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

The protesters also repeated Mrs. Rajavi’s statement earlier saying: “Those responsible for the slaughter of innocent passengers of an airliner must be prosecuted and punished. Ali Khamenei, as the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Hassan Rouhani, the mullahs’ president, and IRGC commanders are responsible for this horrific crime.”

In Rome, Italy the NCRI/MEK supporters also gathered in support with the Iran protests and in solidarity with victims of the downed Ukrainian airliner.

Mr. Reza Oulia said: “I hereby express my condolences to the family of the victims and to the great nation of Iran, including many educated youths, during the crash of the Ukrainian passenger plane. It is crystal clear that it was the regime who downed this passenger jet; although it vainly tried to conceal this crim.”

Background:

Iranian regime was to acknowledge it has downed the Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752, killing all 176 passengers and crew. This delayed development follows a wave of protests and revelations by Iranians inside the country, and intelligence being unveiled by the United States and confirmations by various other countries
