PMOI/MEK supporters rally against Zarif presence at Munich Security Conference
Iranians, supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK) held a protest rally against the presence of the Iranian regime’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in Munich, Germany, simultaneous with the annual Munich Security Conference on Friday.
The PMOI/MEK supporters from across Germany gathered in Munich, and condemned Zarif’s presence at the Munich Security Conference, and reiterated that Zarif is culprit in all the regime’s terrorist activities approved by the Regime’s High Security Council, particularly regime’s terrorist operations in Europe. Zarif has provided diplomatic cover to the regime’s terrorists by using regime’s embassies around the world.
Zarif has been close to the eliminated commander of the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Forces, Qassem Soleimani. In an interview with Iran’s state-run Entekhab daily on September 1, 2019, Zarif specifically boasted about having “the greatest coordination with commander Soleimani” and how the two “decided to make sure we meet at least once a week.”
While referring to Zarif’s direct involvement in regime’s terrorism and his disgusting campaign of disinformation and lies to whitewash regime’s crimes, such as the massacre of 1500 protests during the Iran protests, the PMOI/MEK supporters underlined that the Munich Security Conference is not a place for terrorists and Zarif should be kicked out of this conference. They also highlighted that regime change in Iran will ensure peace and security in the Middle East and urged the European countries to recognize the Iranian pole’s right to resistance and overthrowing the Iranian regime.
The PMOI/MEK supporters also urged the European countries to blacklist the IRGC and the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and to expel regime’s agents from the EU countries. They also urged the EU countries to refer regime’s human rights abuses dossier to the International Criminal Court and condemn this regime.
