Dr.Riad Yassin Abdallah Speaks After Conviction of Iran Regime’s Diplomat-Terrorist by Belgian Court

Dr. Riad Yassin Abdallah, former Foreign Minister of Yemen addressed an online global conference on the conviction of Iran’s diplomat-terrorist Assadollah Assadi by a Belgian court for attempting to bomb the 2018 Free Iran gathering in Paris.

On February 4, 2021, simultaneous with the court ruling against the Iranian regime’s diplomat-terrorist, Assadollah Assadi, and his accomplices in Antwerp, Belgium, a global online conference was held, where Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and dozens of prominent figures from various European countries, the United States and Canada, joined thousands of Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI) members based in Ashraf-3 (Albania) as well as the supporters of the Iranian Resistance worldwide.

The Belgian court rejected Assadollah Assadi’s claim of diplomatic immunity and sentenced him to 20 years in prison. The three intelligence agents, Nasimeh Naami, Mehrdad Arefani, and Amir Saadouni, were sentenced to 18, 17, and 15 years in prison, respectively. Their Belgian citizenships was also revoked.

Dr. Riad Yassin Abdallah, former Foreign Minister of Yemen

Good morning for everybody.

First, I would like to congratulate President Maryam Rajavi and the Iranian people for this victory.

This is a historical day. I would like to congratulate also myself because I have been a victim of this terrorist act if tends to would happen.

This terrorism is a continuous behavior of the Iranian regime since long time as they are supporting and funding the Houthis militia or as they call themselves, Ansar Allah, in my country.

They destroyed my country in the last six-year wars. All of them are a terrorist act, what they are doing to my people in Yemen.

The last decision by the American government to label them as a terrorist should be supported by everybody and should be supported by everyone because what they are doing in my country is no different, what the Iranian regime doing in Iran and outside Iran.

They are working the Houthis militia or Ansar Allah. They are agents for a terrorist regime. I think we should all come together and work together in order to stop them and to stop dire and wonted terrorism, which of course, a lot of innocent people are dying and suffering from this kind of behaviors.

Today, we are celebrating, and we will continue our struggle, our fight against terrorism. And I think, the decision today by the court, the verdict is worth to celebrate and to remember this day.

Thank you very much for all your support, and we hope that coming together, we can become victorious always against such behaviors. Thank you very much.
