On February 4, 2021, simultaneous with the court ruling against the Iranian regime’s diplomat-terrorist, Assadollah Assadi, and his accomplices in Antwerp, Belgium, a global online conference was held, where Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and dozens of prominent figures from various European countries, the United States and Canada, joined thousands of Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI) members based in Ashraf-3 (Albania) as well as the supporters of the Iranian Resistance worldwide.

The Belgian court rejected Assadollah Assadi’s claim of diplomatic immunity and sentenced him to 20 years in prison. The three intelligence agents, Nasimeh Naami, Mehrdad Arefani, and Amir Saadouni, were sentenced to 18, 17, and 15 years in prison, respectively. Their Belgian citizenships was also revoked.

Today is a historic day. Today is a day that there’s no turning back from. It’s a turning point for the European community and the rest of the world, not only with the regime in Iran, but particularly with their representative, Foreign Minister Zarif.

You see, we’ve always known Iran to be behind numerous acts of terrorism not only throughout Europe, but throughout the world. But today, the evidence is overwhelming. Today, the evidence is damning. The Iranian regime was caught red handed.

They’re not denying it. Their only defense is to plead diplomatic immunity, as if diplomatic immunity protected terrorism. This is why we should demand Foreign Minister Zarif : clean house throughout every Iranian embassy throughout Europe, of all IRGC and at all MOIS agents. Because in their defense Assadi said that they are essentially using the whole diplomatic corps as a foreign operation for their terrorism and their exploits.

Either Foreign Minister Zarif can prove that he’s cleared out all embassies of terrorist organizations, including as I said IRGC and MOIS who conduct numerous terrorist acts around the world and especially within Iran itself against their own people. It’s time we face the facts. either call them out on cleaning house or shut those embassies down. make it very clear to the mullahs in Iran, that we know that their existential threat was modern Rajavi and PMOI and the NCRI. Because that’s who they were targeting. It’s not anyone’s claim that NCRI and Mme Rajavi are existential threats to Iran.

The proof is in this trial. The proof is why would the whole Iranian diplomatic system go to such lengths to seek to blow up a rally celebrating democracy and freedom coming to the Iranian people that clearly is the enemy of the current regime in Iran, that is wreaking havoc over human rights in Iran. We have seen it not only in the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 protesters, but we have seen it in numerous massacres since especially in the last few years of uprisings.

It’s time to face the facts. It’s time to call Iran for what it is a terrorist state. It’s time to expel their diplomats. It’s time that we have a new Iran that we support NCRI we support the 10 point plan of Mme Rajavi and that we support a new day for all Iranians who can finally be freed of this terrorist regime who terrorizes not only Iranians but terrorizes the world. Man Irani hastam. Long live the people of Iran.
