Vienna, June 17, 2022: Iranian Resistance Supporters, Demonstrated Against the Mullahs' Regime

Vienna, Friday, June 17, 2022: Freedom-loving Iranians, supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Stephansplatz Square in support of the Iranian people protests and against the mullahs’ regime.

Supporters of the Iranian resistance in Vienna chanted: “The Iranian people do not want the mullahs’ regime and an atomic bomb.” “They want a free, democratic, and secular republic.”
The demonstrators also chanted: “The enemy of the Iranian people: Shah (Monarchy regime) and Sheikh (mullahs’ regime), cause murder and imprisonment: Shah (Monarchy regime) and Sheikh (mullahs’ regime).”

They expressed their support for the protests across Iran, condemned the crimes of the mullahs’ regime, including the suppression of protesters and the arrest of dozens of political activists, and demanded their immediate and unconditional release.

The Iranian community in Austria called on the Austrian government, the European Union, and the international community to condemn the repression of the Iranian people by the mullahs’ regime.
