Excerpts of the speech of Iveta Radičová, Prime Minister of Slovakia (2010–2012), at the Free Iran 2022, is as follows:

Ladies and gentlemen, I am really pleased, to contribute to this summit for free Iran, which represents a broad international front of leaders and politicians who have chosen to unite around the democratic alternative, human dignity, freedom, and human values.

Years after years, the Iranian resistance is expanding the movement for justice to bring to an international court dose responsible for crimes against humanity in Iran. In particular, the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988. As Amnesty International underlines in a 200 pages report that, up to nowadays, it is an ongoing crime against humanity to bring about freedom in Iran.

Madame Rajavi has given women their full place in the Iranian resistance. We are faced with a resistance movement, where women are in charge, and they have proved their competence since this movement is constantly developing internationally as well as inside Iran.

Outside to the situation in Iran, but inside to the fighters and, as a fighter for democratic values, the EU must choose the right policy to ensure peace and security Europe and America, together with Canada and other democratic states, must change course and stand with the Iranian people as they demonstrate day after day for the right for freedom, equality, democracy, claiming they want a republic based on free election, justice, democracy and not any kind of dictatorship.

I hope that such a support can’t or can help a bit. Thank you very much.
