Excerpts of the speech of Kenneth Lewis, The Lawyer of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), at the Free Iran 2022, is as follows:
Two words. I’m very proud to have been able to represent the people’s Mojahedin in this historic trial in Stockholm, Sweden.
The historic importance of this trial cannot be underestimated. It has very little to do with Hamid Noury. It has everything to do with the Iranian regime.
The decision of the district court makes absolutely clear that the regime in Iran today, including the president and the highest religious leader, are all guilty of genocide and crimes against humanity and murder.
And they should be held accountable. That’s all I’m going to say. Thank you.
