Excerpts of the speech of Michal Kaminski, Member of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, at the Free Iran 2022, is as follows:
Dear friends, Madam Rajavi, dear friends. They put so many efforts to stop me from coming here that from the very beginning, I knew I have to be here, and I am here.
They tried to convince me that it will be dangerous to come here. But I said to them, I am representing something more larger than a single country, than a single institution, like a Polish Senate.
I am representing the ideas I was elected on to the Polish Senate. And these ideas, the freedom, democracy, those are the ideas that are unifying us here.
Because freedom has no language, no race, no religion. Freedom is for everyone. We understand it. So, we understand that the fight which is now going on in Ukraine is exactly the same fight, the Iranian people are fighting against the bloody regime in Tehran.
And I deeply believe we will prevail because freedom will prevail. And I’m absolutely certain that in today’s world, leadership matters. And that’s the reason why the Ukrainian people are fighting so brave, because they have a charismatic leader, and the Iranian people have a charismatic leader as well.
And I think that we will soon see a free Iran, free Ukraine, and a free world, thank you very much.
