Excerpts of the speech of Petre Roman, Prime Minister of Romania From 1989 to 1991, at the Free Iran 2022, is as follows:
Dear Friends, It is time, again and again, to praise the extraordinary courage and the fantastic capacity to endure of the resistance of the women and men fighting in the ranks of the Iranian Resistance against the criminal acts of the dictatorship in Iran. They represent the true spirit of the Iranian people, the true spirit of Freedom.
I want to express my profound solidarity with them, the people of the Iranian resistance. They need this solidarity. I invite everybody to join us in our solidarity with the Iranian resistance. Their fight, their combat, their victory will not only be important, extremely important, for the Iranian people. They will be extremely important for all of us, for the freedom all over the world.
Our commitment and our solidarity at this very moment shows that they are not alone. They have our support. And freedom for the Iranian people will prevail.
I express again my solidarity and believe you will prevail, you the fighters for freedom.
