Excerpts of the speech of Wayne Easter, Former MP and Minister of Agriculture From Canada, at the Free Iran 2022, is as follows:

Thank you for the honor and the opportunity to speak and support you in your cause for a free Iran. We live in a troubled world, which is something you’ve recognized in your homeland as you fought for the cause of freedom for decades.
Free Iran is your charge, and that is where you want to go. There is a total illegitimacy in dealing with the current regime, and others have spoken of that legitimacy, and I will not repeat it, but it makes the point.

It makes the point and the need for the international solidarity in terms of rejecting that regime that is in Iran today, much like in Ukraine, where the world has united against the illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine, and that we need to support the world in opposing that invasion.

Like Ukrainian people have the right of Ukraine’s sovereignty and integrity, so too does the Iranian people have the right of sovereignty and integrity. In other words, a free Iran where your people can grow and prosper and determine their own destiny. That can only be gained by continued resistance against the current regime and by building alliances in the world.

We in the west, in the United States and Europe, Canada, Australia, and other liberal democracies must give due recognition to the Iranian resistance and recognize the importance of Madame Rajavi and her vision for Iran based on the Ten Point Plan that she has outlined. Again, it is necessary for the world to come together and fight in support of that free Iran.

The world will be a better place when the current regime replaced by a democratic republic in Iran. Thank you.
