Brussels—Belgium, December 13, 2022: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held protest rally in front of the European Commission, against the criminal execution of the young protester, Majidreza Rahnavard.
In this gathering, several Belgian and European personalities, including Ms. Manel Msalmi, international affairs Advisor of MEPs at the European Parliament, Mr. Serge de Patoul, MP from Brussels Parliament and former mayor of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Mr. Paulo Casaca, former MEP from Portugal, and Mr. Jürgen Klute former MEP and founder of Europablog from Germany participated at the rally.
They condemned the execution of the second young protester, Majidreza Rahnavard, by the Iranian regime and expressed solidarity with the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people.
Majidreza 23, was hanged in public in Mashhad in an act of utter brutality. Rahnavard was one of thousands arrested during nationwide protests that began in September.
Freedom-loving Iranians and MEK supporters in different countries of the world protested against the criminal execution of Majidreza by gathering in front of the embassies and other spy centers of the terrorist regime of Mullahs.
In this gathering, which was held at the same time as the European Union summit, Iranians called for decisive action by countries against this regime, including the shutdown of the embassies of the criminal regime of Mullahs.
