Plano, Texas—January 24, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a photo exhibition in memory of the martyrs of the nationwide Iranian Revolution.
Furthermore, Iranian-American community in Plano, Texas demanded for the recognition of Iran’s people right to defend themselves and overthrow the mullahs’ regime.
Many citizens in Plano visited this photo exhibition and expressed their solidarity with the Iranian people.
Freedom-loving Iranians in Plano, Texas also, honored the memory of Mahsa Amini and the martyrs of the Iran Revolution.
It is worth to mention that Tuesday, January 24, 2023, marked the 131st day of the continuous anti-regime protests across Iran.
Background
Protests erupted in Iran in September 2022 following the brutal and tragic murder of Mahsa Amini in police custody. Demonstrations soon became political, with people calling out the entire regime as the source of all economic and social problems in Iran. The Iranian people have continued what many consider a revolution in the making, despite the regime’s heavy crackdown. This continuation indicates this uprising is well organized. This fact was confirmed by many Iranian state-affiliated outlets and officials, who acknowledged the role of the MEK and its Resistance Units Network as the driving force behind this uprising.
