Brussels—March 20, 2023: Freedom-Loving Iranians and MEK Supporters Held a Grand Demonstration, Calling on the EU to Blacklist the IRGC and Adopt a Firm Policy on Iran's Regime

Brussels—March 20, 2023: A grand demonstration took place in Brussels streets and Schuman Square, simultaneously with the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting. The Iranian Resistance organized this massive rally. Thousands of freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered to demand the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization.

The grand demonstration occurred during the Iranian New Year, Nowruz, and participants carried the Iranian flag with the lion and sun emblem while chanting, “Blacklist IRGC now!”
Iranian Resistance supporters urged the E.U. to adopt a firm policy against the mullahs’ regime’s terrorist activities, blackmail, and hostage-taking.

At the rally’s start, the crowd of Iranians marched through the streets of Brussels, voicing slogans urging European policymakers to implement a persistent approach in combatting terrorism and the mullahs’ regime’s blackmail tactics.

Iranians called for practical measures to be taken against the regime’s heinous crimes committed against the Iranian people and the protesters in the nationwide uprising across the country. They also rejected any form of dictatorship by chanting the popular slogan of “Down with the oppressor, be it Shah or the [supreme] leader.”

After the march, the demonstrators gathered in Schuman Square to hear from prominent speakers who had joined the demonstration.
