Rome, July 12, 2023: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and freedom-loving Iranians held a rally in front of the Italian parliament. They expressed their wholehearted support for Mrs. Rajavi and her ten-point plan for the future of Iran.

The rally was marked by a strong endorsement of the Iranian people’s uprising and their unwavering commitment to establishing a democratic republic.
Participants emphasized their rejection of any form of dictatorship, whether it be the mullahs or a return to the Shah’s regime.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), was invited to the Italian Parliament to participate in a hearing session of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Upon her arrival at the Parliament, she received a warm welcome from parliamentarians and members of the Senate of Italy.

Senator Giulio Terzi, the Chairman of the European Affairs Committee in the Italian Senate and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, joined a group of Italian representatives and senators in greeting Mrs. Rajavi..

Furthermore, Italian media covered this event.
