Linda Chavez: Maryam Rajavi, you are the hope and the future of those people
The full-text speech of Linda Chavez, Former Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison, follows:
It has been a very long and wonderful day, and it is such an honor and pleasure to have been here again with my friends in the National Council of Resistance of Iran. Much has been said today, and there’s very little left to say, except that freedom burns in the hearts and breasts of men and women in Iran. And Maryam Rajavi, you are the hope and the future of those people.
We have witnessed in the 20th century the defeat of colonialism, the defeat of fascism and Nazism, and the collapse of Soviet communism.
I believe that in the 21st century, before the first quarter of that century is over, we will witness the end of the fascist religious mullahs who rule in Iran. This will be the result of the efforts of all of you, and especially you, Mrs. Rajavi.
So, thank you so much for your leadership. Thank everyone in this room for all that you do, and thank the people of Iran for standing up.
